David Schultz, age 56 of Bottineau, died Saturday at a Minot hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau. Burial will be at the Omemee Cemetery.
David Schultz, a son of Marvin and Delores (Mogard) Schultz, was born on September 19, 1961 in Minot. He was raised in Minot and Towner and moved with his parents to Souris in 1980. He worked as a delivery driver at the Family Bakery for many years. He was married to Dawn Nelson for a time. David later worked at the McDonald Farm near Souris until March of 2017 when he retire due to his health. In 2018 he moved to Minot and was living at Minot Health and Rehab.
He is survived by his sisters, Cheryl Colby of Minot and Jennel Cederberg of Hawley, MN; brothers, Gary Vannett of Souris and Rodney Vannett of Minot; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gerald and Roger and nephew, Troy Shaw.
