Darren Foss, 52, Landa, died Sunday, November 1, 2026, near Belcourt. His funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau. Visitation will be on Monday from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Mouse River Cemetery near Landa.

Darren Eugene Foss was born on March 20, 1974, to of Eugene Foss and Maxine (Dempsey) Foss in Minot ND. He was raised in Landa ND. He graduated from Westhope High School in 1992. Darren became a loving father in August 1995 and again In August 2008. His children were his world. He worked at Bottineau Bee for many years and also day trading in the stock market: He married Stacey on August 1, 2003, the marriage later ended. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, hunting and fishing with Aidyn and Sam, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is survived by his (ex-wife Stacey), son Aidyn Foss, daughter Samantha Foss, (Chris Dubois), fur babies Chaos and Mystery, grandchildren Emma and James Dubois, sister Cindy (Rick) Gimbel, Niece Ashley Murphy, numerous aunts, uncle, cousins
