Darlene Greatwalker, age 39 of Dunseith, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at a Rolla hospital.  Her funeral will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at the St. Sylvan's Church near Dunseith.  Her wake will be on Thursday starting at 3:00 pm at the church.

Darlene Rae Greatwalker age 39 of Dunseith was born on March 5, 1986 to Karen Greatwalker and Susan and Sylvan Beston of Dunseith North Dakota. Darlene attended school at Dunseith day school. She lived in Dunseith where she met. Carris Cree and stayed with him until his death in 2014. Dar was a stay at home mom she loved to be around family and friends. She also loved to shake dice and go to the casino and gamble. She was loved by everyone who knew her.

Darlene is survived by her daughters Carrissa Jo, Cassie Rae, Niomi Lynn, Sunshine Marie, Laila Skye, and one grandson, Carris John whom she loved very much. Sisters, Kimberly (Gene)Decoteau, Shelly Greatwalker, Crystal Greatwalker, Wendy (Leroy) Decoteau, Stephanie (Wayne)Gunville, Donna Beston, Melissa. (Musquah)Beston. Special Neice Tara(Tunie) Beston and many others. Brothers, Daniel, Corey, Aaron. Aunts, Veronica (Rosie) St.Claire, Bonnie Norquay and also many special cousins, Neices and Nephews.

Darlene was proceeded in death by her parents, Karen Greatwalker-Susan and Sylvan Mowen Beston, Sister Angel Azure Beston, Brothers, Clarence John Greatwalker, Michael Norquay Beston and The love of her life Carris John Cree and also many aunts uncles and grandparents.

Darlene will be lovingly missed by all who knew her.
