Obituary

Daniel Novodvorsky, age 94 of Bottineau, passed away of natural causes on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at a Bottineau nursing home.  A private service was held.

Daniel Novodvorsky, a twin son of John and Vera (Karpenko) Novodvorsky, was born on May 9, 1926 in Minot.  Following high school and two years in the Army during WWII, he earned an electrical engineering degree from NDSU.  On December 12, 1951 he married Marian Reamer.  He took a position at Honeywell in the aerospace division in Minneapolis where he worked for 38 years.  In connection to his work, he contributed to the Lunar Apollo Saturn Flight Project in 1968.  Following retirement in 1989, he and Marian made their home in Winter Haven, Florida.

In retirement, Daniel served in a voluntary capacity performing various duties in support of his home owners association including serving on the board of directors.  He enjoyed bowling, golf, and was an avid wood carver, having been awarded several first place ribbons in competition for is carvings at various Florida wood carving shows.

He is survived by his sisters, Elise Halsted  and Irene Novodvorsky; brothers, Phillip and John (Evernne) Novodvorsky; sisters-in-law, Violet Brenden and Mary Lou Reamer and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Swenson; brothers, Harold and Arnold and twin brother, David; brothers-in-law, Delbert Reamer and Kenneth Brenden.
