Dale Laverdure, age 57 of Belcourt, died Monday at his home.  A memorial mass will be held on Monday at 10:00 am at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church at Belcourt.  A rosary will begin at 30 minutes prior to service time at the church.  Burial will be at the St. Ann's Cemetery in Belcourt.

Dale Laverdure, a son of Raymond and Carol (Luhr) Laverdure, was born on November 21, 1960 at Berkeley, CA.  He was grew up in Albany, CA  where he graduated from high school and lettered in football and basketball.  He then became a certified welder.  He moved with his family to Belcourt in 1983.  Through the years he worked at the family gas station, worked security at the casino and also worked construction.

Dale enjoyed bowling and playing pool.  He also enjoyed watching sports.

He is survived y his sons, Joseph Laverdure of  Fargo and Timothy Laverdure of Belcourt; step-sons, Kevin Davis of Sioux City, IA and Tom Davis of Fargo; brother, William Laverdure of Belcourt and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers; Raymond Edward, Steven James and Alfred Earl.
