Obituary

Cortney a daughter of Sue Ellen Poitra and Wayne D. Poitra Jr. was born on July 3, 1988 in Rolla, North Dakota. She grew up in Dunseith and Fargo where she was raised along with her four sisters by her mother and step-dad Jeff Cote. Cortney was joined in marriage to Manuel Reyes. She attended schools in Fargo, graduated with her GED and then went on to MSCTC for Culinary Arts. Cortney had a passion for cooking and could prepare a five course meal in record time. She was a late night snacker and her most guilty pleasures were cereal, ice cream, and chocolate candy, which; resulted with extra sit-ups the next day. She also had a love of music, enjoying hip-hop, classic rock, 90's R&B and country, and pop. She loved singing and you would often hear her singing her most favorite song Two Sparrows in a Hurricane.

Cortney had a special love for her children, family, & friends, which was given back in return. She had a quirky personality and was able to make everyone laugh. She was selfless, giving, loving, free-spirited, & had the most generous heart.
