Connie Sivertson, age 70 of Bottineau, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at her home in Bottineau.  Her funeral will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10:00 am at Lake Metigoshe Christian Center.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.

Connie Mae Sivertson, a daughter of Everett and Florence (Hasenwinkel) Schultz, was born on May 25, 1951 in Bottineau.  She grew up near Omemee, ND and graduated from Bottineau High School in 1969.  She then attended beauty school in Minot.  She returned to Bottineau and worked at Tommy's Cafe and in the bakery at Super Valu.  She also worked at Ace Hardware in Bottineau during the holiday season.  On December 20, 1980, she married Gary Sivertson in Bottineau.   They made their home on the farm near Souris where lived and farmed until moving into Bottineau in 2018.

Connie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Souris where she taught Sunday School and was active in the WELCA.  She enjoyed bowling and playing softball.  She loved to make quilts and blankets for friends, family and even her nurses.

Connie passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at her home in Bottineau.

She is survived by her husband, Gary of Bottineau; sons, Jonathan Sivertson of Souris, Mitchell Sivertson of Fargo and Thomas Sivertson of Minot; grandsons, Ryan Sivertson, Erik Sivertson and Owen Sivertson; siblings, Doris Leno of Bismarck; Gloria Nickelson of Bottineau, Jay Schultz of Arizona, Janice Schmidt of Mohall, Dennis Schultz of Wisconsin and Jeffery Schultz of Upham and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Kenny Schultz and Duane Schultz.
