Cole Diebold, age 36 of Willow City, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020 in Anchorage, AK.  His visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.  A private service will be held but a public graveside service will be on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Memorial Park Cemetery at Willow City.

Cole O'Neil Diebold, the son of Bryon and Kathy (Simonson) Diebold, was born on March14 ,1984 in Rugby.  He was raised near Willow City and graduated from Willow City High School in 2002.  HE then attended Bismarck State College and earned a degree in Power plant Management.  He worked at ADM in Velva before becoming a conductor for the Canadian Pacific Railroad where he currently was employed.

Cole enjoyed woodworking, taking care of his yard, flying kites and camping.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family, and his fur babies. He loved going on vacations to places where we could be surrounded by the beauty of nature.  He often could be found having solo rock concerts as his love for music was always growing.

He is survived by his parents, Bryon and Kathy of Willow City; fiancée, Andrea Foster of Willow City; sons, Sabastion and Skylar Foster; sister, Jessica Diebold of Rugby; parents-in-law, Daryl and Brenda Foster and Dianne Perkins and Ernie Boehm; brother-in-law, Jack (Maggie) Foster; sisters-in-law, Kristina (Mike) Larson and McKinsey (Nick) Tensing; nieces and nephews, Noah, Chloe, and Parker Wright, Ava and Julia and Lincoln Foster and  Franklin Larson.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Richard and Carol Simonson and Glen and Lila Diebold and a cousin, Cody Block.

Arrangements were with Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.  Friends may sign the online register book at www.nerofuneralhome.net.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that trees be planted or donated in memory of Cole.
