Christopher
Pitsiladis
May 20, 1988 — Mar 28, 2023
Christopher (Chris) George Pitsiladis, 34, passed away unexpectedly on March 28, 2023.
Chris was born on May 20, 1988, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to George and Cindy Pitsiladis. Chris grew up in Rolette, North Dakota, graduating from Rolette High School in 2006. After graduating, Chris stayed in Rolette, where he began his career in the restaurant business.
Anyone who knew Chris knew that he had a heart of gold. He loved spending time with family and friends, but most importantly loved spending time with his dogs, who were like his own children.
A big part of Chris' life was enriching the lives of people through food and humor. As part owner of the Village Café, he prided himself on giving his customers a culinary experience they wouldn't forget. His desire to carry on the family business was always first and foremost in his mind. When not creating incredible and unique meals, Chris had a desire to make people laugh. Whether it was telling a joke or pulling a prank, he always seemed to make people happy.
Chris immediately made his presence felt anytime he entered a room, making an impact on so many people. He had an amazing spirit, and words cannot describe how much he will be missed.
Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents Emmanuel and Mary Pitsiladis, grandparents Robert and Delores Winschell; uncle Harry Pitsiladis; cousin Jenny Leitkam.
He is survived by his parents George and Cindy; his brothers Don "DJ" (Shawnda), Rob (Courtney), John (Ashley), Billy (Adrian), Manny, and Michael (Jonathan); his sister Sarah; nephews Daniel, Isaiah, Josiah, Micah, Kayson, Madden, Beckett, Marvin, Austin, Mateo, and Dominic; nieces Taylor, Molly and Ainsley; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and close friends.
