CHARLOTTE R. COLEMAN

Charlotte Coleman, age 77 of Westhope, died on Thursday, December 29, 2016 in a Minot hospital.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Westhope. There will be no visitation cremation has taken place.

Charlotte Coleman, a daughter of Chauncy and Greta (Koons) Huber, was born on April 10, 1939 at Westhope. She was reared and attended school in Maxbass. After graduating she moved Minot and attended college. After her education she moved to Hollywood, CA. In July 1959 she was married to Robert E. Coleman at San Fernando, CA. They Moved to Phoenix, AZ then Nashville, TN and in 1961 returned to Maxbass. They then moved to Lakewood, CO in 1966. In 1976 they moved to Westhope, where they operated a sporting goods store. She began working at the Westhope Home. Charlotte eventually became the  Dietary Supervisor at the Westhope Home. Robert passed away in 1998. She has lived in Westhope since.

She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, crossword puzzles and especially her cats.

She is survived by a son, Scott Coleman of Antler; 2 grandchildren; 2 great- grandchildren; brothers, Chauncey (Mick) Huber and Curtis Huber both of Maxbass; and a sister, Shirley Beverly of Newhall, CA.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert. a daughter, Heidi Fouhy; brothers, Marion, Jerry, Herbert (Herb), Esherl, Ivan, Charles and Keith Huber; a sister, Cheri Waldron. And many nieces and nephews.
