Charles E. Jacobsen, 68, of Bottineau, North Dakota, passed away at St. Andrews hospital, July 9th 2021. Charles was born in Racine Wisconsin on November 22nd 1952, to Charles Jacobsen and Ardis (Welch) Jacobsen.

Charles took pride in his work, he was a union painter for years. While living in North Dakota he worked at Bottineau Winter Park, where he ran ski lifts and helped handicapped individuals along with first time skiers. He also volunteered for meals on wheels, delivering food to the elderly. Charles loved spending time with family and friends. He served in both the Army and Navy making him a proud Veteran. Charles was brave, intelligent, and caring. He enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. He also was an avid Denver Broncos fan.

He is survived by his significant other Robin Hagen, his two children Charles Jacobsen and Melissa Jacobsen, grandchildren Jeremiah Smith and Charlie Jacobsen-Yeater (IL), his brother and sisters Gary Jacobsen(WI), Judy Conrad (GA), Lajean Perry(SC), Linda Pustol (WA), and Brother in laws Terry Loper(WI) and Geoff Conrad(GA), he will be missed dearly by many.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters Kathy Kosterman and Elaine Loper.

A memorial service will be held at Nero funeral home Bottineau, North Dakota. Friday, July 23rd 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
