Ashley Blada, age 34 of Minot, died Saturday March 2, 2019 at a Minot care center. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at the First Lutheran Church in Bottineau. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a service at 5:00 pm all at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.

Ashley Blada a daughter of Brad and Connie (Amsbaugh) Blada, was born on July 4, 1984 in Minot.  At the age of 3 she would spend the school year at the Anne Carlsen Center in Jamestown and the summers she spent at home.  She later moved to Minot where she lived at REM and for the last several years she was a resident at Kalix.

Ashley enjoyed being around people, shopping, dancing, watching the Sci Fi Channel and spending time on the pontoon.

Ashley passed away on Saturday March 2, 2019 at a Minot care center.

She is survived by her mother, Connie of Bottineau; father, Bradley Blada of Kramer; brothers, Jamie Moe of Chandler, AZ and Erik (Bethany) Blada of Bottineau; nephews, Rayce and Ryder; grandparents, Marilyn and Donnie Wolfe of Bottineau and Marvin Blada of Newburg; aunts, Deb (Donavon) Glinz of Chandler, AZ, Cyndi (Curt) Stebleton of Lakeville, MN and Audrey (Orville) Wang of Devils Lake; uncles, Mark (Dawn) Amsbaugh of Grand Forks, Rick (Mary Beth) Amsbaugh of Chandler, AZ, Paul (Kelley) Amsbaugh of Bottineau, Harlan (Mary) Blada of Newburg and Greg Blada of Towner; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Joyce Blada and grandfather, Marvin Amsbaugh.
