Arlene Pozarnsky, age 65 of Bottineau, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at a Minot hospital.  Her memorial service will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan with a celebration of life at 3:00 pm at the Bismarck Municipal Country Club, 930 N Griffin St Bismarck. There will be a time of visitation on Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.

Arlene Ann Friedt was born on July 21, 1959, to Alexander and Leona (Koenig) Friedt. She was raised on the family farm north of Mott with her 9 siblings.

She received her elementary and high school education in Mott, ND, graduating in 1977.

Arlene worked many jobs through the years including the Mott Nursing Home and ND Game and Fish. Her greatest passion was her last job as a massage therapist where she was able to help others.

Arlene married Dennis Lutz at St. Vincents Church in Mott, on September 27, 1980. Together they had two children, Tyler Robert and NaTasha Ann. Arlene and her children lost Dennis on September 11, 1998.

Arlene married Brad Pozarnsky on August 28, 2003, and lived on their family farm in Bottineau, ND. Through this marriage she gained 2 stepchildren, Daniel and Chelsey Pozarnsky.

Arlene's passion in life was her family and her greatest joy was spoiling her grandchildren.  She also loved sewing and patching things for others.  Her other hobbies included trying new recipes, baking, gardening, bike riding, and helping care for all the farm animals they had.

Those left to cherish her memories and continue her legacy are her husband Brad of 21 years, son Tyler Lutz, daughter NaTasha (Jason) Sawicki, stepson Daniel Pozarnsky, and stepdaughter Chelsey Pozarnsky; her three grandchildren who were her pride and joy Alora and Joren Sawicki and Carter Gile.; her siblings Delores, Duane (Ardella), Leon (Sherryl), Virginia (Mike), Denis (Joy), LeRoy (Steph), Godfrey (Cathy), Len (Karla), Alex (Myrna), brother-in-law Dean (Becky), brother-in-law Dennis (Marie), and sister-in-law Judy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Dennis Lutz, her parents Alex and Leona Friedt, her parents-in-law Bob and Hilda Lutz, parents-in-law Daniel and Bernice Pozarnsky, brother-in-law Dale Lutz, sister-in- law Sue Heinz, and brother-in-Law Gary Pozarnsky.
