Anthony Lindquist, age 53 of Souris, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at his home in Souris. His memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the First Lutheran Church in Bottineau. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday December 30 at 7:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau. His service will be streamed at https://www.facebook.com/FirstLutheranChurchBottineau . In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Anthony Lindquist, a son of Gordon and Diane Lindquist, was born on January 4, 1972 in Minot. He was raised in Bottineau and graduated from Bottineau High school in 1990. He moved to Minot and was the manager at the Pizza Hut. He later went to work at the Souris Valley Care Center in Velva. He earned his EMT certification and began working for the Velva Ambulance Service. Anthony moved to Bottineau in 2001 and he started working at the St. Andrew's Health Care Center. He was well loved by many of the residents and patients he cared for. In the fall of 2002, Anthony and Stacey moved their growing family to Souris. He started taking call for the Bottineau Ambulance Service and occasionally the Westhope Ambulance Service. He recently started serving on the Souris City Council.
Anthony loved his unique vehicles; he once owned a hearse and an ambulance that was zombie apocalypse themed. Anthony enjoyed collecting pistols and target shooting with his children at the local gun club. He loved watching musicals and horror movies. He also loved working on his boat and taking his children fishing.
He is survived by his lifetime partner, Stacey Lehmann of Souris; children, Brandon (Kayla), Aurelia, Olivia, Dylan and Brayden all of Souris; mother, Diane Lindquist of Bottineau; brother, Ryan (Alexis) Lindquist of Minot; grandfather, Weldon Blada of Newburg and aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his son, Brady; father, Gordy Lindquist; uncle, Mike Blada; cousins, Courtney and Heather Davis; grandmother, Luella Blada and great-grandmother, Aurelia Blada.
