Obituary

Angus Campbell, age 93 of Bottineau, died Sunday at his home near Bottineau.  His funeral will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm at the United Parish in Bottineau. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.
Angus Campbell was born March 8, 1925 on the Kinley Farm 15 miles west of Bottineau, ND along Highway 5 in Eidsvold Township, the eighth child of Malcolm and Annie McLean Campbell, immigrants from Isle of Lewis, Scotland. In November 1927 Malcolm purchased a farm in Oak Valley Township 3 miles southwest of Bottineau where Angus has resided since. He still had connections with the Kinely Farm that his Dad rented in November 1909. Angus received his first eight years of schooling at the Cameron School, Oak Valley Township which was one and one half miles from his home, and continued at Bottineau High School where he was a member and officer of Future Farmers of America, later receiving Honorary Membership  in Bottineau Chapter of FFA. Although he never was a 4H Member he received an Honorary Membership
He was preceded in death by his parents Malcolm and Annie,  seven siblings, three brothers. John, Duncan, and Kenneth, four sisters, Christine at twenty days of age, Catherine, Marian, and Margaret, and one niece, Mary Ann Lundeen.
He is survived by nieces and nephews.
