Alyce E. Spencer, age 92 of Westhope, ND, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022,at a Bottineau nursing home.  The same date her mother passed fifty six years earlier.

Alyce was born July 14, 1929 in Westhope to Oscar and Kristina Hallof of Antler. She was the youngest of twelve children. Alice married Earl J. Spencer on January 13, 1949. They had two daughters, Sheila (Dan) Notestine of Lewistown, Ohio and Sharon (Gary) Kirk of Westhope.

She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and "Auntie". She enjoyed being involved in the Presbyterian church. She was well known for her hand embroidered dish towels.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no funeral service. Those wishing to honor her life can make a donation to the Westhope Cemetery.
