Alice Mae Longie, age 69 of Dunseith, ND passed away on Sunday June 9, 2024, at Trinity Health Hospital, Minot, ND.

Wake will be held Sunday June 16, 2024 at the Eagle Heart building starting at 3:00 P.M. Mass of Christin Burial will be at St. Michaels Church Dunseith, ND Monday June 17,2024 at 10:00 A.M.  Burial at St, Sylvans with a meal to follow at the Eagle heart.

Alice Mae Longie was born on November 27, 1954, in Belcourt, ND to Frank and Evelyn (Gunville) Gladue. Alice was raised on the farm in Dunseith, ND and completed her GED. Alice worked at Summer Programs, San Haven as a CNA until closure, Sewing factory, Cook at Dales, Cashier at Utter-Stop, Senior meals, then decided to stay home to pursue her lifelong career as a Daycare provider for 30 plus years until her last days.

Alice was united into marriage to Larus Longie, where raised 3 beautiful children Bob, Brandon, and Larice (Girl).

Alice loved her daycare babies like no other and considered them like her own, gatherings with her family, buying gifts for her family, getting her nails and hair done, shopping especially at the dollar tree where she would spend hours, the casino, going to Walmart every Thursday night with her Davis babies, she was obsessed with clothes and shoes, baking, canning, gardening, flowers, dancing to KEYA every morning, going on trips, and LOVED everything blingy and to be blingy all the way down to her toes.

Alice Mae Longie is survived by her loving husband Larus Longie, children Bob (Eva) Longie, Brandon Longie, and Girl (TJ) Davis.17 Grandchildren Laikyn, Rennan, Lexius, Aydan, Brenton, Sadie, Bella, Tank, Lincoln, Piper, Bentlee, Fierce, Saige, Aleana, Landon, Shanice, Remington. 3 great-children Nova, Lilly, and Ryker. Sister -in law Rita (Jeff) Poitra, Adopted children, all her daycare babies (past & present), godchildren, fur babies daisy & peter, siblings Rosie (Phillip) Peltier, Gary Gladue, Frank (Linda) Gladue, Susie (Warren) Gourneau, Jeff (Sheila) Gladue, Faye (Duane) Foote, Mike (Sherri) Gladue, and many nieces and nephews.

Alice is proceeded in death by her parents Frank and Evelyn Gladue. Siblings Sharon, Gaylen, Carol, David Gladue, and Janice Schroeder, Her baby twin of girl, grandchildren Paris E. Davis, Langston Beston, Kenai Longie, and Mother- in law Anna Mae, and many other family members.
