Alfred Lehmann, age 95 of Willow City, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at his home near Willow City.

Alfred Lehmann, a son of Edward and Nettie (Schuchard) Lehmann, was born on September 17, 1927 on the family farm near Willow City. He was raised there and attended country school. On September 17, 1955 he married Shirley Backman at Bottineau and they made their home on the farm west of Willow City where Alfred farmed and ranched. Shirley passed away on October 20, 2003. Alfred has remained on the farm since.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Immanuel Lutheran Church of Willow City.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and loved John Deere tractors.

Alfred is survived by his two children, four grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews; son, Terry (Cindy) Lehmann and children, Stacey (Anthony Lindquist) Lehmann and Travis (Kristen) Lehmann all of Souris, ND; daughter, Gail Trenda and her companion Corey of Leonard, ND and her children Jennifer (Derek) Wangler of Gwinner, ND and Michael (Tanya) Kyle of Moorhead, MN.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 1:00pm at Immanuel Lutheran Willow Church, Willow Creek Township
