DORREL ELLIS
Dorrel Ellis, age 76 of Bottineau formerly Willow City, died Saturday, December 15, 2012 in his home. There will be no services at this time. Cremation has taken place.
Dorrel Ellis, a son of Marvin and Laura (Kitzman) Ellis, was born on April 27, 1936 at Willow City. He was reared and educated in Willow City. After his education he worked at various jobs through out North Dakota. Dorrel was married to Karen Kleaven for a time. He worked until an injury forced him to retire. In 2000 he moved to Bottineau and has resided there since.
He enjoyed fishing and playing cards in his younger years.
He is survived by daughters, Jody Borgerson of Bottineau and Michelle Kartas of Minneapolis; a son Terry Ellis of Virginia; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lyla Bertsch of Rolla, Lorraine Jones of Minot, Ardis Miller of Moore, OK and Elaine Tong of Ray.
Dorrel was preceded in death by his parents, son Kim Ellis, and brothers, Harlan, Alton and Lloyd.
