ROBERT THOMAS PELTIER
Mass of the Christian burial for Robert T. Peltier, age 8 of Dunseith, were held on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in the St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Dunseith. Burial was in the St. Mary’s Cemetery of rural Dunseith. Officiating at the service was the Reverend Fr. Dan Abalon S.O.L.T. and Fr. Scott. Special music was provided by Troy DeCoteau and Cheryl Haagenson. Casket bearers were Josh Keplin, Trent Keplin, David Nadeau, Glen Poitra, Willie Counts, Eric Keplin and Caley Fox.
Robert Thomas Peltier, a son of Daniel and Candace (Poitra) Peltier, was born on April 24, 2004 at Crow Agency, MT. He was reared and educated in the area until 2011 when he moved to Dunseith. Robert has resided there since.
He was involved in baseball, enjoyed horses, X box, going to the lake, rodeos and wrestling with Uncle Glen.
He is survived by his parents, Dan and Candace Peltier of Dunseith and Zeta Big Medicine and Robert Martinez both of Crow Agency, MT; sisters, Kelsey Peltier, McKayla Peltier and Danielle Peltier; brothers, Abrahm Peltier and Noah Peltier all of Dunseith and Christian; grandparents, Denise Peltier and Marceline Poitra both of Dunseith and Henry Little Light of Crow Agency, MT; great grandmother Joann Big Medicine of Crow Agency, MT.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Darrell Poitra, Silas Big Medicine, Joe and Deloris Peltier and Frank Big Medicine.
